About MTN Global Graduate Development Programme - Uganda 2019

MTN’s Global Graduate Development Program seeks to source, develop, and employ top graduates from South Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Uganda. The program offers a privileged experience that fast-tracks talented individuals into critical roles at MTN. The MTN Graduate Development Program combines both formal development through leading global learning partners and the MTN Academy, as well as on-the-job development through full employment and placement into a management role initially:

The formal component includes modules at MTN’s 3 Regional Learning Centres, located in South Africa, Dubai, and Ghana. These will include blended learning experiences such as metaphoric immersive experiences, multiple digital and media channels, and connection to social media platforms.
On-the-job development will take place locally where graduates are employed in MTN’s Operating Companies, and through job rotation. This will include in-role experience, varied interactions with the Executive Committees, mentoring, and coaching.
The MTN Graduate Development Program offers top graduates a bespoke development and significant employment experience in a company that has and continues to shape this continent.

Business Intelligence in MTN is one of the most important departments that provide analytics and MIS enablement to the rest of the business functions. The Business Intelligence team is the custodian of all data analytics, business reporting and market research actions that help every single business vertical like Sales, Marketing, Mobile Financial Services to be able to monitor and measure their business performances and plan their strategic and tactical goals for the future. This team of analytics experts continuously strive to provide better visibility, deeper insights and closer knowledge about our customers’ choices and preferences thus ensuring MTN deliver meaningful products, promotions and value for money tariff offerings. From developing simple performance reports to building complex data models or deploying analytical capabilities of tomorrow like BIG DATA platforms, MTN Business Intelligence team is the team that makes them happen.

Customer Value Management
Customer Value Management (CVM) is the practice of maximizing customer profitability and value creation over the lifetime of the customer. CVM evolved from CRM (Customer Relationship Management) with a greater focus on revenue and profitability. The discipline is strongly reliant on big data analytics, market research and customer experience philosophy to inform the strategy, plans and activities that help businesses derive greater lifetime value and profit from customers. CVM is much more than just technology and data-driven marketing: it is an injection of scientific principles into business management, supported by technology. CVM is a critical function for any business who wants to generate value from customers and monetize customer data.
